I DID IT!

Today I did a lot of things...

#1- I woke up early and cleaned my house.
#2- Hosted a Pampered Chef party for my Aunt Marcena.
#3-Took my brothers to Boondock's and had a blast on the go-kart's and arcade.
#4- Got a lot of laundry done.
#5- GAVE MY LANDLORD MY 30 DAYS NOTICE!

All I can say is lucky #5!

"CLASSIC" MOMENT

Today all of my wildest 5th grade dreams came true. My ward went "Classic Skating", and a handsome young chap...who was not in my ward asked me to be his snowball! I swear in the 5th grade I was always way too shy to snowball, but I always secretly longed to skate hand in hand with that special skater. My life is now complete!

THE BANKER SAID TO CHOOSE ME!

"Deal or No Deal" was looking for contestants for their show in Utah, and I just happened to apply. Here is my application letter. Wish me luck...I'm going for the million!

Hi! My name is Hayley Haws. I recently have become addicted to "Deal or No Deal". It all started, when I was at the gym one day and was running on the treadmill. All of the sudden your show came on, and 7 miles later I was still glued to the screen. Usually I only run about 3 miles, but there was something about it that just kept pulling my heartstrings. I knew that day that I would be the perfect contestant for your show.

My family has also been addicted to your show for awhile. On Thanksgiving we played "Thanks, or No Thanks", with the same concept as "Deal or No Deal", but with a lot less money!

I live a very full life. I am currently working as a coder for some Orthopedic Surgeons, and will be starting school back up again this Summer. I have been a belly dancer for the last 3 years, and have been playing guitar and writing songs for the last 10. I also started the Yelyahswah (Hayley Haws backwards) Music Foundation, and I teach guitar to underprivileged kids.

I would love to take my chance at "Deal or No Deal", mostly because the only thing I have ever won in my whole life is a box of candy canes, and its about time to changed that! Anyhow I know if you have me on your show...that tread millers across the nation will be hooked just like me!

SINCE MARCH 3RD...

"Here's to losing the Holiday pounds!"

So for the last 3 weeks my hippest Jamaican friend Avia and I have been workout buddies. We have been measuring body parts we didn't even know we had, and weighing in every Monday. I have also cut out my Diet Dr. Pepper, most of my sugar, and red meat...which just happens to be my favorite foods. So I just wanted to brag about losing 3.4 pounds this week...bringing my total weight loss to 7 pounds! Cheers!

Today I was asked if I would consider writing a Children's book about music for some Orphanages around the World. The book will be translated in many languages, and will be printable on the Internet, and very cost efficeint. I even get to work with Artists and tell them exactly what kind of art I want for the book. Stay tuned for a great read!

Where were you born? American Fork, UT

Middle name: It should be May...My family has called me Hayley May ever since I can remember!

Nicknames: Most people are lazy and call me "Hay". In Jr. High I had the nickname of Punky. I have also been called Yelyah, Helyah, and Hayley Mayley....

Are you taller than your mother or father? I am definitely taller than both of them, but my brothers are finally passing me up.

Do you cry often during movies? Well I just went to "I am Legend", and I totally cried and screamed in the movie!

Favorite color: Orange....I have orange Rachael Ray pans, orange dishes, orange pillows, orange tea kettle, and much much more! I even have an orange can opener! What can I say I love orange! Orange you glad I love this color?...okay that was lame!

Favorite foods: I am currently on a diet from all my favorite foods! I have been off sugar and beef for almost a week now. But I would have to say that cinnamon bears, ice cream sandwiches, hamburgers, and sushi are my favorites!


Favorite beverage: Definitely Diet Dr. Pepper! Right now I have been off it for 2 weeks, and I am really only drinking water!

Favorite cold cereal: Honey Bunches of Oats, or Special K with Berries!

Favorite smells:Right after it rains, fresh morning cold air when you just climbed out of your tent, Victoria Secret Body, CK one, Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and a good smelling man!

Favorite time of day: I love when you are laying in bed in the morning, and you realize it's way too early to get up...so you just cuddle with your covers!

Favorite make-up products? I love eyeshadow by Mac, and also Bed head's After party!

How many pillows do you sleep with? I have 8 pillows on my bed and I sleep with about 5 of them.

Do you play an instrument? yes!

Have you ever been skinny dipping? A couple of times! One was with some of my friends at Lake Powell...it was hilarious! We went at night, and I think we hurried and got out when someone thought they felt a fish go through their legs.

Did you do any sports in High School? I am not athletic! I did attempt track though.

What was the last movie you saw in the theater? I just saw "I am Legend" on Tuesday with my friend Chris...he was making fun of my screaming the whole time!

What is your favorite article of clothing? I have a pair of white Capri's with black flowers scattered on them that I adore! I also have my Garfield night shirt which is going to be made into a quilt soon. I also love Vanity jeans! I also have a necklace fetish...I have necklaces from all around the world!

What is your dream vacation? Aruba baby! But...when I retire I am going on an around the world cruise....I am currently putting away 17% into retirement to make this happen!


If you could be an animal, what would you be? I would be a crock, so I could wrestle with men with Australian accents!

What is your favorite "me- time" activity? It would probably be gym time, because it gets all my stress out!

Favorite TV shows: Desperate Housewives, and 24. I never watch T.V. besides this!

What is one of your weaknesses? I bite my nails, I over analyze everything, I can't beat anyone in a game of chess, and whenever I go home I make my brothers sing and make up songs with me!

What do you fix for dinner when there's nothing to fix? if there is nothing to fix...it's all about the Dan's Deal at Del Taco for $1.99!

If you could live in a different decade/era which one would it be? I would chose the 50's, so I could wear a poodle skirt and see Elvis!

What is the emotion you feel the most? blessed!

Do you consider yourself outgoing? I am really outgoing if I feel totally comfortable, but if I am even a little bit insecure I get a little shy.

What is something you are constantly working on? Dr. Colledges impairment rating report!

Any hidden talents? For some odd reason I have a knack for calming teenagers down.

What is a word or phrase you overuse? I always say "ya know what I mean", and I am always pulling out fake "studies have proven" facts on my brothers. They used to believe me but now they caught on, and are trying to pull them on me.

What was the greatest thing that happened to you this past year? Becoming an Aunt!

What was the hardest thing that happened to you this past year? Having my brother Heber leave on a mission. I lost my best friend, my mover, and my country dancing partner all in one shot!

The best piece of advice you learned this past year? I actually got it from a Michael Buble song called "Lost". I listened to that song, and literally felt God talking to me in the chorus.

BOTTLED WATER WARS!

Today I woke up and took a Fiji water out of my mini fridge in my room. I love Fiji water! The bottle looks like paradise, the water is crisp, and if you close your eyes while drinking it, it almost feels like you are in Fiji.

This afternoon I also had a bottle of Arrowhead water. I hate Arrowhead water! It tastes like it came from the bathroom sink at a KOA camp. This bottled water reminds me of having a romantic candlelit dinner, with a homeless man, on a Tuesday night...it's just not good!

Anyhow so that is the word!

VIVA LAS VEGAS!

This last weekend Becky and I headed to Vegas!

It seriously took us 20 minutes of walking down hallways to get to the pool! It was so funny because the halls just kept going and going.... But then we found it, and we were all smiles!

We then almost crushed the city!

Just Kidding we were on top of the stratosphere being silly!

#5 proved it again...all luck! This orange bear was hilarious...We walked down the strip and took the Bear's hand and just waved it at people. We think we are so funny! Actually we were laughing so hard I think a couple of tears were shed!

WHAT IS THIS?

This morning while walking to work I came across an unfamiliar object on the Provo river trail. I thought for a moment, and asked myself "Self, what could this strange item be?"

For a moment I thought it could be uneven bars for midgets, but then I noticed it was mighty close to the trees. Then I thought maybe it's for people who are frightened to get too close to the river, giving them them a good old hug of comfort.

I honestly don't know! Any hints?

LUCKY NUMBER 5

Five has always been my lucky number. For instance I was born on August 5th, I have 5 little brothers, my best friend in high school was born on December 5th. The last hotel I stayed at also had 5 wonderful pillows on my bed, I am usually clocking out of work at 5 pm, and Thursday which is the 5th day of the week has always been my favorite day!

Well today while expressing my love for the number 5, I would like to declare to the world that it has been 5 days since I have had a sip of my beloved Diet Dr. Pepper. This is a huge accomplishment because I have drunk a 44 oz every morning for the last year before 10am. I must say that it has been hard! I have been ornery, and everyone at work is asking me if I am okay.

Anyhow so far its been wonderful! Last night I fell asleep at 10:45pm which is great, because usually I am a 2 am type of girl. Also I have a 2 Liter bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper in my fridge if anyone wants to take it off my hands!
